Rainy Day Wishlist

I am currently sat in the living room, staring out the window watching the rain come down. We are in for a couple of days of downpour due to a tropical cyclone up north, luckily, where we live, we don't get the full brunt of the cyclone, just some rain, well, a crap load of rain, and some pretty decent wind gusts. It's relatively calm for now, it's only the rain at the moment, but come later this afternoon/evening the wind gusts will pick up and start blowing a gale. Anyways, I had a thought, earlier, when I was walking to the supermarket, which generally takes 10-15mins but because it was raining it took me about 30-40mins due to the fact that I got distracted with jumping in puddles, anyways, as I was jumping in puddles I started thinking about rainy weather gear and so, naturally, I spent hours looking at rain gear and I thought I would share what I found and what I loved.....

  1. Anchors Rain Coat // Hatley // dstore
  2. Polka Dot Bubble Umbrella // totes // totes-isotoner
  3. Black Wellies // Hunter // bstore
  4. Red Polka Dot Rain Coat // Hatley // dstore
That's it, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.
Until next time, take care x

  4. I just realized that I don't actually own ANY rain gear! This has to change because it is so much fun to walk in the rain!

    1. Haha. I own a little too much, rainy day gear! But walking in the rain is my favourite thing to do so I think that justifies the amount I have. :)

  5. I love all of the picks on your "Rainy Day Wishlist". I love the shape and look of that clear Totes-Isotoner umbrella with its multiple colours of polka-dots. It looks like it would offer shelter from a lot of rain whilst not getting caught and inverted by the wind as easily as some other designs do on occasion. Those black Hunter Wellingtons look like excellent boots - similar to the ones I have been wearing after all of the snowstorms we've been having during this brutally cold February here in the NorthEastern U.S.. Both the Hatley anchors print raincoat and the Hatley red polka-dot raincoat look fashionable and very attractive.
