Happy New Year.

I hope you had a great Christmas and a good New Years Eve/Day. I have returned from the land of laziness, that's the only excuse for the almost two weeks of not blogging. I've just been happily living in my own little bubble, spending money, playing GTA V and procrastinating. Every day I told myself I would write this post, tomorrow and every tomorrow I would say the same thing. I'm a terrible procrastinator and I do apologize for that, but it can't be helped, it's just me, it's what I do. I had a completely different post planned, which now has been rescheduled, due to the weather, which is rain, I love the rain, so I'm not complaining. Instead I have a haul, a small haul, but a haul nonetheless...enjoy and I'll meet you at the bottom.

Crop tops, who doesn't like slightly cropped tops? some people probably. I, on the other hand love them because they are extremely flattering on my pear shaped body. They stop at my waist, which is naturally my smallest part of my body, it's only fair that something is small on my body. lol. I own so many, it's probably bordering on obsession. These two are both from kmart. The striped one was $6 and the Floral one was on clearance for $3, which is perfectly fine by me, thank you very much.

This dress I found in kmart's maternity section and by section, I mean one rack of clothes that are maternity. It's swing dress, which is great for summer because it's flow and airy and doesn't cling to you, which nobody wants in summer. If you don't know, my wardrobe is basically black and white, it used to be just all black and then I suddenly felt strange wearing all black and moved onto monochrome. I do have some colour, but most of the time I wear black and white. Also I love stripes, I have a lot of black and white striped clothes, it's ridiculous. I was excited when I saw this dress because all the other swing dresses I had tried on just weren't loose enough and I was getting really ticked off because I wanted one made out of a more summer friendly material than the one I had been constantly wearing, which is made out of a sort of wool material. It was thick, is what i'm getting at and it is definitely a winter dress. But I saw this one. got excited because it was maternity so you know it's going to be loose, tried it on and bought it. It was $15

Last and by no means least, is the best purchase I have made in my entire life. No joke. If you have been reading my blog from the beginning you would know that I have been wanting a pair of cherry docs for the longest time, what you may not know is that I have been wanting a pair of docs since I was 15 yrs old, so 11 yrs now, and I finally bought a pair. I actually bought these as a Christmas present, to myself. 2014 hadn't been the greatest for me and I just felt that I deserved to treat myself to something big and these were the big I chose. I bought these online from the Universal store, they were $199.99 free express shipping because I spent over $75. Yay. I bought them a few days after Christmas, I think it was Sunday the 28th, they shipped Monday and were in my little hands by 10.30am Tuesday morning and I couldn't have been more excited. I've already worn them and had prepared myself for the worst, but they really didn't destroy my feet at all, after about 4 hours of walking around the shops, they had started to rub the back of my ankle, but that was mostly because my folded over socks had budged and I didn't have a double layer anymore. So maybe I was just lucky. But I am very happy to own these and now all I need are some black ones and all other shoes, except going out shoes, won't be needed anymore. SHOE SALE.

That's it for today's post. I hope your 2015 is filled with nothing but joy and happiness and I can't wait to see what 2015 has installed for not just me and my blog, but also for you and yours. I hope you enjoyed and until next time, take care xx

    1. I don't know how I went so long without them! And the colour is really versatile. I wore them with a dress that had black background but relatively bright bird of paradise on it and it didn't clash at all xx
