Hair Care

As you can see, my hair has taken a pretty good beating when it comes to colours. I've ranged from various shades of reds to what I can only describe as some form of strawberry-ish blonde to semi platinum blonde to blue, black and purple. Currently, my hair is a copper colour, like the photo at the end only slightly deeper, although, It is currently resembling the end colour because I have been unable to get my hair done due to lack of funds. But nevermind that. What I'm getting at is that my hair has copped a lot of stress and as a result it isn't the healthiest, but it is, surprisingly, a lot less damaged than some people's who have done similar things to their hair. I put it down to the copious amount of coconut oil I would put in my hair before bleaching the hell out of it. Also the hours of aftercare I did once the process was done. Even though I did all those things, I wanted something that would continue to repair it even after I stopped the aftercare process. So my search began and this is what I found.

I've been using the Ultimate hair repair&gloss treatment spray for very damaged and dry hair since last year and I like it. Like with the rest of the products, it contains Keratin. Which we all know is rather important when it comes to repairing hair. All I would do was hop out the shower, towel dry my hair and spritz it all over and leave it, over time I started noticing a difference. Nothing you could really rave about, but there was a difference. It got me thinking, If the spray alone is making somewhat of a difference, I wonder how well this range will work if I use all the products?. So, off I went to buy myself some hair products. This isn't exactly a review, more of a hair care routine, so I'm not going to get into it too much, but what I can say is that I was thoroughly impressed with the results once I started using the whole range. My hair is so much softer, it looks so much better, especially the ends and it's not as frizzy, which is a problem for us curly haired gal. I wash my hair twice a week, that's all it needs and I prefer to keep it's natural oils for as long as possible to help repair it. I hardly use any shampoo, only focusing it on my roots, as you are meant to, and only placing the conditioner mid length to the ends, like most people do. I use the mask once a week and the spray after every shampoo and condition. I use no heat at all on my hair and I always make sure my hair is down or braided when I go to bed. That, on top of using these products, have done wonders for my hair and I would recommend anyone who may have slightly damaged hair to give it a shot. You may be pleasantly surprised. Well, that's, that. Until next time, Take care x

    1. The moment I started dying it, I stopped with the heat. It definitely need that stress added on top. Everytime I dye my hair I'm always saying "sorry hair" one day it'll be over and back to its old healthy self. But for now. Sorry hair.
      Thanks for commenting x

  6. Sounds great. But those products may not be available in my country. My hair is very dry. I've tried coloring when I was younger but doesn't really work for me. So, now I just stick with black. But I'm thinking of coloring my hair lighter again.
Great blog. Would you like to follow each other?

  16. Ooh I must try out this haircare range! I used to be a big fan of the brand but they've fallen off my radar of late. I quite like the joico and alfaparf range especially the hair oil, definitely helps keep my hair conditioned.

Love your blog! Newbie bloglovin follower. :)
