After we had purchased the P plates we decided that it was a pretty good time to have something to eat. I had noticed on our way in that there was a grill'd restaurant close by and pointed it out to my friend, who's eyes nearly fell out, they bulged that much. Ha. I ordered the moroccan lamb burger, which I always order, It's the best. Once we finished stuffing our faces, we made our way to the beach, which was the only reason we agreed to go. No surprises, it was gorgeous down there, as always. There is something about beaches in winter that I just love, especially Queensland winters, although there is always a cold breeze blowing the toasty warm sun always balances it nicely. We walked the entirety of the beach, not so much in peace, more like in fits of laughter, but it was still relaxing, regardless. We headed back to the photography studio after our walk, we didn't know what else to do. We had a look around a charity shop and then sat in the car laughing at ourselves and at the people who couldn't read the sign on the shop door that told you to slide the doors yourself as the wind was causing the automatic doors to not work properly. One guy got his scarf stuck in the door on his way out and tried to walk away before suddenly stopping, his trapped scarf wouldn't let him go any further. It was difficult to not burst out laughing at that, I know, you shouldn't laugh, but it was funny! We spent an a hour and a half in that car, lord knows what the shop keeper was thinking. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable day, we headed home at about 2.30, I grabbed my things from my friends house and made my way home to get my daily fix of Full House and to have little Nanna Nap, because I'm old.
I hope you had a good weekend? Until next time, take care x
